I must say that after reading quite a lot of reviews from multiple sources on the internet and the pro’s and con’s of ECU tuning I decided to go with Superchip Bluefin ECU remap. The reason I chose the Bluefin product over the other was how easy it was for someone like me to remap my Golf GTI Pirelli. I knew it had more potential than the factory tune, and so I went for it. Once I received the unit, it was very intuitive and easy to register, scan and then within hours of uploading my car’s factory map, I received the stage 1 tuned mapping from Superchips. As soon as I received the update I downloaded it and went straight to my car and completed the remap in around 15 minutes….during which time, I was very anxious whether this was worth the money I paid for it. You bet ya, I got my money’s worth. As soon as I hit the freeway and put my foot on the pedal I felt the extra horses and torque right away. I was amazed how a simple remap could change a car’s response. I am already thinking about stage 2. This is quite addictive I must say.
